About Us

J&J Motors Est in 2015 located in Newtownards on Portaferry Road started out as waste ground. We as a family have always had a passion for cars and started off by selling used cars from our home as a hobby. 

Over time we began to think of where we could get a site to trade from. When our site on Portaferry Road became available we knew this was where we wanted our family business to be. Work on the site started almost immediately and the building was put up in just two days. To turn around waste ground into an independent car dealership in just 6 weeks was definitely an all-hands-on-deck project. 

The name behind J&J Motors comes from our children Jordan and Jessica, both of which work here. The mascots representing them are the monkeys on the workshop doors, this is because whilst growing up we often referred to them as cheeky monkeys However, since then there has been a new addition to our family and a new ‘cheeky monkey’ added to the workshop doors. 

We welcomed our daughter Sophie back in March 2016, she also does her bit for the business and loves answering the phones and chatting with customers!
